The Fundraising Music Gala 2025, titled “Wings of Hope – A Spring Symphony for Generations,”
concluded successfully on 9 March 2025 at the Xiqu Centre. Celebrated with a shared spirit of hope,
the evening brought together supporters, guests, and talented musicians for a meaningful night of
music and community.
The Guest of Honour, Secretary Winnie Ho, offered heartfelt thanks for the event’s dedication and
support. She described women as background music—quietly enhancing our daily lives by bringing
joy, comfort, and sometimes encouraging messages.
The Gala lineup featured soprano Dr. Ying Ying Liu, pianists Phoebus Chan and Rachel Cheung, and artists Rachel Kwok, Colette Lam, Carol Lin, Henry Ngan, and Albert Lim, erhu player Pik-sum Chan, cellist Cong Tan, and drummer Lawrence Tsui. Adding an immersive experience for the audience, a digital backdrop was created to complement the performances.
With a full house, the Gala achieved an outstanding fundraising result. Through generous donations, the event raised over 1.45 million, setting a record high for ZCK and reflecting the strong commitment of the community to create positive impact.
